My Favorite Reads of 2020

These are my top reads of 2020 (released in 2020). They’re sort of in order, the top three (Magpie/Survivor/Ring) being too close for me to choose. I received a copy of Where Nightmares Begin through a giveaway from Goodreads. What a wonderful surprise. I do not usually read horror stories but this was a mesmerizing collection of stories. I grew up in Iowa so the story of Abraham’s Bridge was authentic to my memories of my youth . Boom Town reminded me of my fear as a kid watching the movie The Blob. I was almost too scared to read that one. Things We Fear takes place in one of my favorite places Maine. All three of these stories were amazing. I kept reading even though the stories were terrifying! When I calm down from reading these I will definitely look for more of his works! Thank you Glenn!!

That’s great to hear, Mary. I’m happy you enjoyed the stories. I’m glad you made it through your fears! Come back to Old Orchard Beach anytime. 🙂 -Glenn
